yesterday. We had a great time! While the fishing
was good, having a guide with local knowledge of the
area was just as important to us. We really
appreciate you telling us about the history of the
gulf & rivers and the local people. When we come
back we will definitely call you again for another

Hey Captain Kelly, I wanted to let you know
that Jack and I had a blast with you yesterday.
You're a really good captain and we will definitely
be calling you again to go fishing. The boat was
really sweet. However, I'm going to contact Robb
because I have a few more questions for him. I would
really like to check out a boat that has a higher
horsepower on it. I hope the crank bait I gave you
will help you win some tournaments. It's probably
one of the best redfish baits I've ever used and I
hope it works good for you too. I'll be in touch.

In desperate need for some "fishing therapy" saved up my $ and booked a trip with Capt Kelly. I had my son come home from college for the weekend in hopes of turning him on to his first Red. It's kind like your first kiss. Once you've hooked up to a red, you know you just gotta have more.
We left out of Kelly's place at 9:00 and headed "south" I have no idea where we were, the mangrove islands all look the same. Pulled up in a spot and saw signs of a school, Joel threw a chunk of mullet and I have a live pinfish. Wind was blowing pretty good out of the south. Threw a bad cast right in the middle of the pack and ran them off Moved to another spot and in minutes started workin 'em.
Joel got a hook up, I wish you could have seen the look on his face. While that was going on, I got a hook up as well. Before the day was over we had 3 double hook ups, a total of 25 reds on the day. Most were slot sized, all were loads of fun. Capt Kelly was great to work with, I will be booking with him again!

Had an absolutely great time
today. Joe, Brian and myself talked about the day
the entire ride back to Ocala.
When I got
home my daughter, Lindsey, immediately grabbed my
camera to look at all the fish you put us on. She
was very jealous that she couldn't be out there
today.
I posted the photos we took and have
spoken with family and friends about the great trip
today.
